Clinical & Medical Skills
- Patient evaluation – Ability to evaluate residents’ health status and recognize changes in condition.
- Medication administration – Proper handling and distribution of medications.
- Wound care & infection control – Ability to provide wound care, per provider orders and contribute to infection control.
- Chronic disease management – Experience working with conditions like diabetes, hypertension, CHF and dementia.
- Emergency response – Ability to handle urgent medical situations and perform CPR.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
- Understanding of state and federal healthcare regulations for assisted living facilities.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and resident rights.
Resident-Centered Care
