The Assisted Living Maintenance Team is responsible for ensuring the facility is safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. Here are the essential skills for the role:
Technical & Maintenance Skills
- General building maintenance – Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Preventative maintenance – Ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshooting & repairs – Diagnosing and fixing facility-related issues efficiently.
- Safety & compliance knowledge – Familiarity with OSHA regulations, fire codes, and senior living safety standards.
- Emergency response – Ability to handle urgent repairs, power outages, and safety hazards.
Organizational & Operational Skills
